Table Rock Reservoir is now providing cold-water releases into the North Saluda. This was an important step. MBTU's partners are continuing to acquire river frontage to begin remediation and silt removal.
MBTU has committed funding and manpower for restoration of the N Saluda, next steps include property transfer from Naturaland Trust to SCDNR, improving restoring over 40 acres and 1 mile of riverfront property including high hazard dam removal, and improving the riparian buffer
