Volunteers Needed for Brook Trout Restoration Work

Hello MBTU Team,

SCDNR has scheduled work days for Wright’s Creek Brook Trout Restoration  

involving clearing debris from the stream and assisting SCDNR personnel in  electroshocking.  

Who: MBTU Members and guests (+18-older)

What: Wright’s Creek Brook Trout Restoration Work

Where: Meeting at Duke Energy Bad Creek parking lot at trail entrance

When: Each scheduled day starts/ends:  9am - 3pm

Why: Supporting South Carolina Brook Trout Restoration Projects

What to bring:  Waders, wading boots, clothes for the weather, gloves, water, lunch, etc..

Ensure that you sign the Personal Injury Consent Form when you show up for the event.  

In case we finish early with this project, we’ll shift our support to Emory Creek.  We will send out an updated email if/when that happens.   If you are available to come out and volunteer we’d enjoy spending the day with you.
